Real Answers to Your Important Questions
Because making the right decision starts with the right information
What makes you different from a regular personal trainer?
Wellington Equestrian Fitness specializes exclusively in the biomechanical demands of riding. While personal trainers focus on general fitness, we identify and address the specific restrictions that limit riding performance. With 18 years of movement science and 11 years of equestrian biomechanics research, we understand the unique requirements of equestrian sport.
How long before I see results?
Most riders notice changes within 2-3 sessions. Your horse will likely notice before you do. They are remarkably sensitive to changes in your movement patterns. Significant, lasting transformation typically occurs within 6-8 weeks of consistent work.
What's the difference between SADDLE Camp and S.E.A.T. Academy?
SADDLE Camp is a 3-hour workshop for riders who want to understand and fix their own restrictions. S.E.A.T. Academy is an 8-hour professional certification for fitness professionals, trainers, and therapists who want to specialize in equestrian clients.
How do I know which program is right for me?
Start with an assessment. Every rider is unique, and the initial evaluation tells us exactly what you need. From there, we'll recommend the most efficient path to your goals, whether that's pain elimination, performance optimization, or education through our workshops.
Do you work with beginners?
Yes, and preventing problems is far easier than fixing them. Beginners who start with correct biomechanics progress faster and avoid the compensations that plague riders for decades. We also work with parents to ensure young riders develop properly from the start.
Where do sessions take place?
We come to you throughout Wellington and Jupiter Farms area - your barn, private club, or home gym. Premium oceanfront sessions are also available at our Singer Island studio. We understand the Wellington lifestyle; you don't have time for another commute.
Can you help with fear or confidence issues?
Often, fear and confidence issues have biomechanical roots. When your body can't stabilize properly, your nervous system creates protective patterns—including anxiety. Many riders find their confidence naturally returns as their body becomes more capable and stable.
How far in advance do I need to book?
Current clients typically book 2-3 weeks out. New client assessments are usually available within 1-2 weeks. SADDLE Camp workshops are scheduled throughout the year with pre-registration required. For immediate concerns, we maintain some flexibility in our schedule.
